The Project VOICE has earned a nomination for the Premios Lidera Mujer 2025, an award that celebrates and supports social initiatives and projects in the social economy that are making a tangible impact in their communities. The awards are organized by Associació Dones pel Futur, Fundación Nantik Lum, and Asociación Arrabal, with funding from the Spanish Ministry of Labor and Social Economy.

The Premios Lidera Mujer recognize projects, cooperatives, associations, social enterprises, and other agents of change that generate a positive impact in the community, promote equality, inclusion, and decent employment and prioritize sustainable and collaborative models.

IWS submitted the VOICE project for this year’s awards in recognition of its work supporting Ukrainian refugees, providing training, mentorship, and resources to facilitate their integration into the labor market and society. VOICE empowers participants to develop professional skills, confidence, and social networks across the consortium countries, including Spain, Italy, Poland, and Belgium. By focusing on the unique challenges faced by refugee women, VOICE promotes gender equality, economic empowerment, and active participation in their new communities.

Representatives from IWS attended the award ceremony, held on December 15, 2025, at the Google Safety Engineering Center, where numerous inspiring social and collaborative initiatives were celebrated. Although VOICE did not receive an award this year, IWS was honored to participate and share its vision with other impactful projects in the social economy.
