A multilingual hub connecting Europe and Latin America through open education, collaboration, and shared transformation

The INNOVET LATAM project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, proudly announces the launch of its Open Educational Resources (OER) Platform, now live at www.innovetlatam.com.

This dynamic digital space brings together the entire knowledge base, tools, and outputs of the project in a fully open-access, multilingual, and user-friendly environment, enabling learners, educators, and policymakers from both Europe and Latin America to explore and use the results freely.

The platform embodies the spirit of inclusive, collaborative innovation that defines INNOVET LATAM — a project designed to strengthen Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Guatemala and Venezuela through cooperation, mutual learning, and capacity building.

The INNOVET LATAM OER Platform serves as the digital backbone of the project, consolidating all its results in a single, navigable, and engaging environment. Visitors can:

  • Discover the Project — Explore INNOVET LATAM’s mission, objectives, and structure in the Project Overview section.
  • Meet the Partners — Learn more about the consortium of organizations from Belgium, Italy, Spain, Guatemala, and Venezuela leading this initiative via the Partners Page.
  • Access the Cooperation and Inclusion Models — Review the strategic frameworks developed under WP2, including the Two-Way Cooperation Model and the Inclusive VET Governance Model, both available in the Models Section.
  • Engage with Training Materials — Download, use, and adapt the training modules and operational tools on EU frameworks (EQAVET, EQF, ESCO, Europass, CEDEFOP Learning Outcomes) and the EntreComp Framework, all accessible through the Training Section.
  • Follow the Sustainability Plan — Stay informed on the long-term vision for maintaining and scaling the project’s results in the Guidelines Section.
  • Stay Updated — Read the latest news, milestones, and impact stories in the News Section.
  • Join the Community — Engage with peers, educators, and organizations through the Community Section, where new members can sign up to exchange experiences and contribute to ongoing activities.

True to its mission of openness and accessibility, all resources available on the platform are completely open-access — they can be downloaded, reused, adapted, and shared without restriction, following Creative Commons principles.

To ensure inclusivity, the platform is available in English, Spanish, and K’iche’, with all executive summaries of key results and deliverables translated into these three languages. This linguistic approach reflects the project’s deep respect for cultural diversity and linguistic heritage, especially the recognition of indigenous languages as a cornerstone of equitable education.

The INNOVET LATAM OER Platform is more than a repository — it’s a living ecosystem of learning and cooperation. As the project advances, new materials, case studies, and testimonials will continue to be uploaded, ensuring that the platform remains current, interactive, and community-driven.

With its combination of multilingual accessibility, open licensing, and structured design, the platform sets a benchmark for digital capacity building and international collaboration in VET. It invites educators, students, institutions, and policymakers to learn, contribute, and replicate successful practices across the region and beyond.
