As part of the Digimuse Enterproject, Internet Web Solutions delivered two face-to-face training sessions designed to strengthen the digital competences of museum professionals, cultural practitioners, educators, students, and anyone interested in making cultural heritage more accessible and engaging through digital innovation.
The training sessions focused on two of the project’s free learning modules:
- Digital Skills for Inclusion: Tools & Techniques for Small Museums that Want to Reach Everyone
- Smart Culture: Using AI for Small Museums and Inclusive Digital Heritage
The first module, Digital Skills for Inclusion, introduced participants to practical digital tools and strategies that enable small museums and cultural organisations to create more inclusive experiences for diverse audiences. Participants explored how digital technologies can improve accessibility, support audience engagement, and remove barriers that may prevent people from fully participating in cultural activities. The training highlighted affordable and easy-to-implement solutions that can help museums become more welcoming, interactive, and inclusive.
The second module, Smart Culture: Using AI for Small Museums and Inclusive Digital Heritage, focused on the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in the cultural heritage sector. Participants discovered how AI-powered tools can support content creation, visitor interaction, communication, accessibility, and the digital promotion of museum collections. The session also addressed the responsible and ethical use of AI, encouraging participants to explore innovative technologies while maintaining authenticity, transparency, and inclusion.

Both training sessions combined theoretical knowledge with practical examples, allowing participants to reflect on how the newly acquired competences could be applied within professional contexts.
The training forms part of the Digimuse Enter educational programme, which consists of 4 free online learning modules developed to support the digital transformation of museums and cultural institutions. All learning materials are available through the project’s OER Platform https://www.digimuse.eu/training.php, where users can access the courses free of charge, at any time, and download the training materials in PowerPoint and Word formats for self-study or educational use.
