The third and final Train-the-Trainer session of the European project DIGIMUSE ENTER – Digital Tools for the Inclusive Accessibility to Cultural Heritage was successfully delivered, focusing on European funding opportunities for cultural digitalisation and the development of strategic project management skills.
The training session, delivered by IHF – Institut de Haute Formation aux Politiques Communautaires, brought together staff members from the project partner organisations with the aim of strengthening their capacity to identify European funding opportunities, build international partnerships, and develop competitive project proposals.
The meeting forms part of the DIGIMUSE ENTER Train-the-Trainer programme, through which the project’s technical partners are equipping cultural organisations within the consortium with the knowledge and skills needed to subsequently train external cultural professionals. The sessions are delivered with the support of the DIGIMUSE ENTER Digital Warehouse, which is simultaneously being validated through direct user engagement.
During the training, participants explored the main European programmes supporting digital transformation and innovation in the cultural sector, including Creative Europe, Erasmus+, and Digital Europe. They gained practical insights into identifying the most suitable funding opportunities for their organisations and aligning project ideas with European priorities.
Special attention was devoted to the practical aspects of European project development, including how to search for calls through the European Commission’s Funding & Tenders Portal, understand eligibility and evaluation criteria, formulate SMART objectives, establish effective partnerships, and design sustainable project activities with long-term impact.
The session also highlighted the crucial role of transnational cooperation in European projects and provided participants with practical tools and strategies for expanding their professional networks and strengthening their engagement in European initiatives focused on the digital transformation of cultural heritage.
Through this training pathway, the participating cultural organisations are acquiring essential technical and project development skills to address the challenges of digitalisation and promote more inclusive access to cultural heritage, fully aligned with the objectives of DIGIMUSE ENTER.
All four training courses developed within the project are now freely available online and can be accessed by cultural professionals, heritage practitioners, museums, and organisations interested in digitalisation, accessibility, and innovation in the cultural sector.
