DIGIMUSE ENTER launches its new training programme to support the inclusive digital transformation of small museums and cultural organisations

The four free online training courses developed within the Erasmus+ DIGIMUSE ENTER project are now available in English, Italian and Spanish, providing cultural professionals with practical skills for inclusive digital innovation.

The partnership of the European project DIGIMUSE ENTER – Digital tools for the inclusive accessibility to cultural heritage, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, is pleased to announce the official publication of the DIGIMUSE ENTER Training Programme, one of the project’s key achievements and a major milestone in promoting a more inclusive and accessible digital transformation across the cultural heritage sector.

Developed as the main outcome of Work Package 3 (WP3), the Training Programme has been designed to provide practical knowledge and tools for small museums, cultural organisations, heritage professionals, and Vocational Education and Training (VET) providers, helping them strengthen the digital competences needed to address the challenges of today’s rapidly evolving cultural landscape. The complete training programme is now freely available in English, Italian and Spanish and consists of four thematic learning pathways:

  • Digital Skills for Inclusion
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Inclusive and Accessible Cultural Services
  • Strategic Planning for Inclusive Digital Innovation
  • European Opportunities for Digitalisation

The programme follows an innovative methodology inspired by the micro-credentials approach, in line with the recommendations of CEDEFOP, the European Commission, and UNESCO, offering short, flexible and practice-oriented learning experiences.

Each learning pathway consists of a modular training course aligned with EQF Levels 3 to 5 and developed on the basis of the DigComp Competence Matrix produced within the project. Learning outcomes are clearly defined according to the dimensions of Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes, ensuring full consistency with the European Digital Competence Framework.

To maximise practical impact, every module includes:

  • self-assessment quizzes
  • practical tools and operational templates
  • hands-on exercises and challenge-based activities
  • real-life case studies from the cultural sector
  • a thematic glossary
  • additional learning resources

At the end of each learning pathway, participants can assess the knowledge and skills they have acquired by completing a final self-assessment test. Upon successfully passing the assessment, learners can download a personalised certificate featuring their full name, recognising the successful completion of the course and supporting the visibility of their learning achievements.

Thanks to their modular structure and editable learning materials, the courses are suitable both for self-paced learning and for VET providers wishing to customise the content according to learners’ needs and local contexts.

All training courses have already been integrated into the DIGIMUSE Digital Warehouse and are freely accessible through the project’s official platform:

The video recordings of the Train the Trainer sessions, during which the project partners presented the training paths developed within DIGIMUSE ENTER, are now also available on the project’s official YouTube channel. The videos offer further methodological insights, illustrate the course contents, and provide practical suggestions for the use of the educational materials by museums, cultural organisations, and heritage professionals.

All videos are available on the official DIGIMUSE ENTER YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@digimuseenterproject

With this new publication, DIGIMUSE ENTER confirms its commitment to supporting the inclusive digital transformation of European cultural heritage, making free, open, and high-quality training resources available to the professional community.
