DIGIMUSE ENTER, co-funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ programme, is a European project uniting eight partners from Italy, Iceland, Belgium, Spain, Cyprus, the Netherlands, and Croatia. The project is dedicated to strengthening the capacity of museums and cultural organisations to embrace digital transformation in ways that are both inclusive and sustainable. By promoting the integration of innovative digital tools, DIGIMUSE ENTER supports cultural professionals in expanding access to heritage, enhancing audience engagement, and creating more participatory and accessible cultural experiences.

On 9 April 2026, the project reached a significant milestone with the successful delivery of its first Train the Trainer session.

Delivered online and attended by 20 participants, the session brought together cultural professionals from across Europe in a dynamic and forward-thinking learning environment. The training was led by IWS (Internet Web Solutions), the partner responsible for developing two of the project’s core modules: Digital Skills for Inclusion and AI for an Inclusive & Accessible Cultural Offer.

This formal training initiative is part of a wider programme designed to equip consortium partners—and, crucially, external cultural operators—with the tools and competencies needed to navigate digital transformation in an inclusive, accessible, and sustainable way.

Building Capacity, Enabling Change

Through a series of three interactive online trainings, project partners IWS, IHF, and EPIC will deliver four specialised learning pathways to the staff of key consortium organisations, preparing them to cascade this knowledge to the broader cultural ecosystem.

The sessions are designed with a hands-on, practice-oriented approach, tailored to the real operational challenges faced by museums and cultural institutions today. Supported by the project’s innovative Digital Warehouse, participants engaged directly with digital solutions identified in earlier project phases (WP2), testing their applicability and effectiveness in real-world contexts.

From Learning to Impact

The training programme aims to deliver concrete impact by strengthening digital skills, preparing consortium staff to train external cultural operators, refining content through participant feedback, and expanding access to flexible learning and certification tools. Ultimately, it enhances organisational capacity for inclusive digital transformation, positioning participating institutions as drivers of innovation beyond the consortium.

Open Access Learning for the Cultural Sector

In line with DIGIMUSE ENTER’s commitment to accessibility and knowledge sharing, the training courses are publicly available on the project website: https://www.digimuse.eu/training.php

Participants can follow the modules online and complete a final assessment to receive a certification, contributing to the professional development of cultural practitioners across Europe.

In addition, the full recording of the 9 April Train the Trainer session will soon be published in the project website, significantly expanding its reach and impact. This recorded session will serve as a valuable and reusable learning resource, allowing a much broader audience of cultural professionals to benefit from the training content anytime and anywhere—well beyond the original group of participants.
