BAITHEI Project – Launch of the WP2 Outputs: AI Assessment Report and AI-TRIX Matrix

The BAITHEI Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership Project proudly announces the release of its two flagship outputs under Work Package 2 (WP2): the Assessment Report on Generative AI Tools in Higher Education and the AI-TRIX Matrix, a structured framework designed to guide educators in adopting artificial intelligence responsibly and effectively across teaching and learning processes.

The WP2 Assessment Report, titled Mapping AI Generative Models for Higher Education: Tools for Content Development, Delivery, and Student Assessment, consolidates findings from six partner institutions. It analyses more than 20 leading AI tools evaluating their functions, accessibility, and ethical implications. The report highlights how generative AI can enhance efficiency, inclusion, and engagement in higher education while identifying challenges such as data privacy, algorithmic bias, and unequal access. It concludes with practical recommendations for responsible AI adoption and integration into institutional governance frameworks

Building on these insights, the AI-TRIX Matrix provides a practical, open-access reference system that classifies AI tools according to their pedagogical function, content development, content delivery, and student assessment. Each entry offers clear guidance on tool functionality, pedagogical value, access models, and ethical considerations. AI-TRIX helps educators match the right tool to the right task, promoting innovation while safeguarding academic integrity and inclusivity

Together, these outputs represent a major milestone in BAITHEI’s mission to equip and empower academic staff to use AI purposefully, responsibly, and meaningfully in curriculum design, teaching, and assessment. Both deliverables are freely available as Open Educational Resources (OER) and can be accessed through the project’s platform.

The materials are available on the official project website: https://www.baithei.eu/
