Málaga, 18 September 2025 – The second transnational meeting of the BAIT HEI – Boosting AI Training in Higher Education Institutions project took place in Málaga, Spain, on 15–16 September 2025, hosted by Internet Web Solutions. The event brought together representatives from all eight partner countries — Czech Republic, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Slovakia, Germany, Finland, and Croatia — to review progress, validate key milestones, and define the next steps for training development.

The meeting marked a decisive step forward for the project. The results of Work Package 2 (WP2) were officially approved by all partners, laying the groundwork for the start of Work Package 3 (WP3), which will focus on the development of tailored training content and AI-based learning resources. Roles and responsibilities for the upcoming phase were discussed in detail and assigned collaboratively.

As of September 2025, the BAIT HEI project has achieved outstanding visibility:

  • Ranked #1 in Google open search results for the phrase “Artificial Intelligence Toolkit higher education”, out of over 12,300,000 results (as of 10/06/2025).
  • Over 22,481 unique website visits since its launch (updated 11/09/2025).

These impressive metrics confirm the growing interest and relevance of the project in the European educational landscape.

Another major milestone discussed during the meeting was the completion of the AI-Trix, now fully accessible at:
https://www.baithei.eu/ai-trix.php?lang=EN

The AI-Trix is an interactive toolkit designed to support higher education institutions in understanding and adopting AI-based solutions. The tools are organised according to the tasks they assist with — including content development, content management, and student assessment — making the platform both practical and user-friendly.

About the BAIT HEI Project

The BAIT HEI project aims to enhance digital readiness and innovation capacity in higher education institutions by providing accessible, relevant, and high-impact training on Artificial Intelligence (AI). Through a structured mapping of existing AI solutions, stakeholder needs analysis, and resource development, the project supports university staff and students in embracing AI tools responsibly and effectively.

Co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme, the project is led by a consortium of 8 partners from across Europe, working together to bridge the gap between technology and education through inclusion, innovation, and collaboration.
