On June 21, 2025, the ADN Institute team had the pleasure of presenting the “Vocational Opportunities and Integration for Refugee Community Empowerment – VOICE” project and its planned outcomes to a wide audience of Europe Day participants, celebrated at the Pascal School for Adults in Kutno. About 100 people attended the meeting, and about 60 people listened to the VOICE presentation.
The event was attended by educators working with adults, students, educational policymakers, university representatives, and employers. A large percentage of students at the Pascal School are Ukrainians. Pascal is a nationwide network of schools for adults in Poland offering a range of free post-secondary education programs, such as medical professions, administration, occupational health and safety, and floristry. Students study programs tailored to the needs of the labor market, gaining education that is in demand from employers, and also providing training that is helpful for starting their own businesses.
During the meeting, the ADN team discussed the goals of the VOICE project, expected results, and opportunities to leverage them for integrating refugees from Ukraine into the labor market.
Experts from ADN also answered participants’ questions and invited everyone to follow the project’s progress on the dedicated VOICE website, the ADN Institute website, and on social media. During the meeting, ADN team repeatedly emphasized their belief that the VOICE results can support the effective adaptation of training programs to the needs of refugees from Ukraine and their integration into the Polish and European Union labor market.
